For the money I certainly can't complain - pros and cons

So there are so many more expensive bike case options out there and as I use my bike on a daily basis I want something that does work well , hold up over time and easily carry around a decent supply of stuff alongside my standard supplies (repair tools, lights, spare tube, hat and gloves, raincoat). Aside from that, I like knowing that I can get whatever I need off my back in no time. They make it for me and have been using it for about two months now. I'm sure there are stronger products out there but I've learned from previous baskets not to overload the zippers or stitch points and as this one is roomy enough I haven't used them. Here are a few CONS: - The straps that attach the top bag to the side baskets work and can be easily removed, but the straps are not adjustable so the top bag appears to be hanging loose when empty. I haven't really had any major issues with it, but a design update would certainly be nice to allow you to zip the top pack. The zippers don't seem very strong and only go one way. In general, I prefer to be able to adjust the position of the zipper so that I can open one side, the other, in the middle, or anywhere in between to make popping and unzipping my setup quicker and easier. it is impossible. - I don't like flashy things, so while I'm used to it, I wasn't a big fan of the big "ROS" on the sides. I think it's a ROSS DRESS FOR LESS bag. It's not, but I've never liked flashy ads for anything, especially one I have to drive every day. The attachments are not as well designed as on my previous backpack. As I said above, I haven't had any issues with the way this attaches or stays attached and it doesn't bother my cycling at all, but it's worth noting, especially if you need to quickly slip them on and off somewhere. Frequency. PLUS POINTS: - For the second month I drive confidently, without complaints, and everything works reliably and reliably. - The top pack easily fits my larger business notepad with the various books I need for school and work, and it's nice that I can keep these business items separate from other miscellaneous items in the side pockets. It has handy side pockets and a zipped top mesh back that I can use for wet clothes and/or things I want to keep ventilated, which came in handy a few times. - All in all, it's pretty damn roomy, and if you don't need space, the top pack easily detaches. I had to cycle to a big pre-Thanksgiving dinner with friends so we could have a few drinks and my two large plates and six packs of beers fitted perfectly, the top pack holding them up with a few gummies and even when everything was packed , I still had free disk space. It impressed me. - The fabric is durable. If it falls apart it will be by looks or flashes like my last few cheap baskets fell apart. This is not a canvas that will let you down, it is strong enough. Considering these pros and cons, I am very happy with this package for the money. Time will tell if this is "reliable for decades" or "a two-year intermediate package for commuting". Anyway, for the price it was worth it for me. I think I'll get this retro leather quick change bag as soon as I win the lottery or retire. Or if it breaks! :)
