The molding on this kick starter must be worn out. The one I received was damaged in two ways. The footrest only rotates about 45 degrees before locking onto the kickstarter shaft. I had to grind part of the shaft to allow the footpeg to rotate the required 90 degrees. Also, the threaded hole used with the bolt to attach the starter motor to the starter shaft was not drilled properly to prevent the bolt from slipping past the shaft to attach the kicker. I had to re-drill the hole and attach it with a bolt and nut. Would give one star but I feel good about replacing my old kickstarter.
