I bought these a long time ago when I and everyone else had problems with the caps coming off on new controller joysticks. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and they immediately changed. They crossed the sticks easily but firmly, and the top felt and controlled well, although for my thumb (Xbox finger) I prefer more inward flex than a slight blister or flatness. But unfortunately I notice a small tear on the side after about 2-3 weeks, that's right, which brings more action. I swapped the caps on both controllers and a week later same thing; on the side it fell apart. So I went ahead and ordered a second pair. 3-4 weeks the same; parting along the side; the lower part and the upper part simply diverge. I've looked at the grips and it seems to me that the side piece is so flimsy that rocking it with your thumbs along with some skin oil will break it. The tops never showed any tears, only the seam on the sides.
