They serve a very specific purpose, to cover the center bolt on the bumper for the hitch underneath. It's easy to install. I have a longevity problem. They only last a few years before they start to harden and crack. You also need to make sure you don't step on it when using the bumper as a step. It will tear and tear even when new.
