Review on Video Recorder VIOFO A129 Plus Duo GPS, 2 cameras by Paul Gim ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Shooting during the day is beyond praise - the numbers are readable at speed, the resolution of the front camera allows you to shoot everything perfectly, the rear camera is only full-HD, but also allows you to fix the license plate. The sound recording quality is excellent. At night, it will not be possible to fix license plates in motion, of course, you need a device of a completely different level - it is quite expected, I do not make excessive demands. A capacitor instead of a battery increases the life of the device. The previous DVR with a conventional battery went bad after a year due to the failure of the latter due to frost and heat. Additional accessories allow you to use the DVR on a muffled car - an additional power supply with the ability to connect from the fuse box and control the car's battery discharge. You can also flexibly adjust the parking mode so that there is enough space on the SD card. Wi-Fi works well - download speeds fluctuate between 20-40 Mbps. GPS connects quickly, measures speed and coordinates adequately. In general, apart from the inconvenient CPL filter, there is nothing to complain about, but I think I can cope with the filter itself, and the registrar does not particularly catch glare. Recommend to buy

Pros
  • Shooting quality, assembly, equipment, sound recording quality, capacitor, wi-fi, gps
Cons
  • Optional CPL filter failed to adjust - does not rotate

Different pros: Two cameras. Supercapacitors instead of lithium batteries. Great shot at night. Some cons: The camera has a lot of glare without a polarizing filter.
