Great workhorse bag, my best friend for cyclists!

When I ordered the Cofit 68L Bike Trunk Bag last fall I was on a tight budget and in a hurry to get gear for my upcoming first bike ride with a couple of engineers from work in the nearby Sierra. It was the only good capacity bag, in the sub $50 range, with the capacity needed for a three day trip, I wasn't expecting much. Damn, I was pleasantly surprised! For me, one of the best features was the wide mounting platform, about ten inches. Since I have a typical thin 6" wide rear case, I immediately "reinforced" the platform with 2" x 2" x 8" pieces of high density foam and strong non-scratch zip ties. For heavier loads I have the Allsop Server Added Desktop Stand, a small metal fixture designed to stably mount large servers, typically rack mounted, on top of a regular desktop in an upright position.a photo. The Cofit's wide fit spaced the side pockets well to your wheels, greatly increases capacity and is one of my favorite features of the Cofit bag. Also, as shown, the bag has withstood five months of northern Nevada winters and numerous trips in wind, rain and snow.I attribute this to the general The processing quality of the Cofit bag and the occasional use of a high-quality silicone impregnation spray with UV protection have both 3M Scotchgard with UV protection as well as the product shown on the hoto page with equally good results. Please note that the manufacturer also carefully provided a rain cover in the front pocket, which I only found when I was impregnating, with a 3M spray, the face is red, LOL ๐Ÿ˜€ This bag went through for me, in thick and thin, works well, and without stowing an amazing amount of gear, this is my best friend when it comes to bikepacking! I would highly recommend this bag, and I also recommend regularly lubricating the zippers with a good quality zipper lubricant or a drop of petroleum jelly to increase water resistance and keep things running smoothly. As pictured, the bag looks new five months later, these photos were taken on the third Sunday of February 2020, the bag was purchased and used in October 2019. With a little care, this work bag will quickly become your best bikepacking friend! Happy bikepacking everyone!
