Man, we should be asking for more

I have had 3 K&N intake kits since the mid 1990's. With each subsequent purchase I liked her things less and less. let me explain. My kit came in a sealed K&N factory box, but the kit was missing a strip of rubber to complete the piping around the box. He was about 7 inches short. In addition, the rubber adapter tube is very thin. Under heavy throttling, it can deform, i.e. collapse, and degrade performance. My 32 year old son imports tuning and he and his buddies make their own intake kits. Not me. If you're not comfortable making your own I would suggest you look into one of the other manufacturers. For $250-$275, we should all be counting on quality components.

Pros
  • ENHANCED ENGINE SOUND: Hear the power under the hood.
Cons
  • A few small things
