If you're hunched over your laptop 8 hours a day, keeping your laptop screen at eye level can save your life. The stand is very strong, so strong that it's quite difficult to adjust if you don't have the strength. For me this is perfect because it can handle heavy laptops and heavy wrists resting on the laptop at the same time.
