Good initial quality - questionable reliability

Over the past year I have purchased eight 32GB MicroSD cards from AMPLIM for use in car DVRs. For the most part, these cards appear to be good for their intended purpose. Keep in mind that at the time of writing this review, all of the cards I have purchased are less than a year old. On a positive note, these cards come with SD card adapters. This makes it easy and fast to view files on compatible computers; Just plug it into the port and it works. I also like that MicroSD cards come in sets of two, so I had a backup card right away - more on that in the next section. I have an out of service card (from January 15, 2020), when it was still installed in my ROAV A1. DVR - it just stopped recording new footage. I formatted the microSD card but that didn't fix the problem so I had to remove the card. Based on my online research, most MicroSD cards last between 5 and 10 years on average - my card failed after just 11 months. Although all cards have been installed in similar DVRs, my other cards have not yet failed. Maybe it was just a bad block.
