Review on 🚗 Bell Automotive Universal License Plate Frame with Clear Cover - Black (12 x 6 inches) by Chris Beals

Not expensive, looks good. I'm going to mount it between this and the car with rubber o-rings to prevent rubbing and/or rattling, but dig this: I plan on turning the black part back next to the car, then the plate will nest in it , then the transparent part is nested in everything. It looks like this will keep dirt out of the lid, especially as I plan to use rubber pads on the outside of the lid for the four screws. It doesn't look quite as finished, but I prefer a clean license plate and don't have to take the whole thing out and clean up from time to time. If I have any issues with it I'll update my review, but it looks good on paper. Quality? It's plastic, so be careful when tightening the screws. This is normal for what it is. UPDATE 1-30-15: Installed on the back of our 2015 Subaru Outback, had to purchase longer bolts (Autozone had stainless steel but slightly larger diameter - not a problem as the bolts go into a square nylon insert rather than metal). I used rubber o-rings between the cover and the vehicle, they weren't needed outside under the bolt head as the bolt heads seem big enough to cover the holes in the cover. No creaking as long as it stays on!
