I bought this to protect my rental seats and then installed it in my new car which I bought a few days later. He did a good job removing hair from the seats and protecting the leather seats from nail scratches. Velcro seat belt slots worked better in one car than another due to the location of the seat belts, so their effectiveness varies by vehicle. The pockets made it easy to stow the leashes for easy access and didn't get in the way or get tangled when my dogs moved around. The adjustable shoulder straps were nice because I didn't want the front to go up as high as in the pictures. I strapped my dogs in so I couldn't rely on the front for safety, and unbuckling the front straps allowed the front to hang a little lower so the A/C could reach the dogs in the back seat. I don't know how well the "waterproof" aspect works in case of accidents, but my large dog is very fond of drinking and his spills didn't seem to leak or cause any problems at all. Overall, I liked the product and was glad I didn't have to pay $30 or $40 for a similar item at a local store.
