I think this inexpensive precision square made in India by Woodstock International might appeal to a lot of people. It was well oiled with a decent polish around the edges. There's no such terrible milling pattern as the Taytools line. All edges are sharp here, but also very precise. I haven't seen any trouble holding it against my Incra or Starrett squares. I prefer the blade to be the same width, like 1 inch. Here we have a blade width = 0.740" and a head width = 0.770". The blade is 4.692" long and just under 1/16" thick at .0605". The distance from the edge of the head to the end of the blade is 3.919 inches.
