Review on Joico Color-Treated Lightened Hair: Balance Eliminator by Vanessa Carstens

I NEVER write reviews, but this is a must. I have natural black Asian hair and am growing it out due to many previous highlights and platinum blonde. I recently decided to start the bleaching process to get an ash blonde ombre black hair. My hairstylist (I trust her) warned me that she can't do my hair the way I want without damaging it, so she has to do it for different sessions. I realized there was a possibility of orange and brass from previous lighting experiences. After my hair was bleached and toned, it was less orange than just bleached. She used 20 vol to bleach and tone my hair without drying or toasting it. When I got home I started to worry about certain lighting and photography. My hair was ORANGE. I was so sad because I had to attend the wedding. My next session was booked 4 weeks in advance. I had a purple shampoo and when I used it it didn't help. Blue shampoo neutralizes ORANGE hair on dark-haired people. I ordered it and prayed it would work. MY HAIR IS NOW SAVED FOR THE WEDDING! The last photo is the result afterwards. Once again the photos don't do it justice due to the lighting but in person one can definitely say that the orange color has been canceled!
