Smooth Operation: Splined Drives

I know the picture doesn't exactly show a differential. Just a cover. My G80 wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I really didn't like that one axle had to spin at least 100 rpm faster for the other to lock up. Made for a very annoying hit when it came. I didn't want this differential, but a real Detroit Locker wasn't available for my truck. 2000 half ton Silverado Z71. Did a complete job, bearings, seals and a nice new cover. I am very happy with the results. excellent traction without annoying barking.
