I wanted to give this product five stars because it looks great. It came with sticky threads but they were easy to clean. I wouldn't call it red either, more orange. I would NOT recommend it for a betta tank unless you plan to fix sharp edges. I didn't feel anything too sharp when cleaning it, but within 8 hours of settling into my betta tank, my betta was rubbing at some of the rough edges and removing some of its scales. I immediately removed that detail and applied aquarium sealer to the jagged edges of the "broken" pot to smooth them out.
