Overall they're pretty good, not great, but good, they look great and feel pretty strong. The inner workings differ from the original, but it works and looks the same. All the buttons and triggers, as well as the gear, work great. The only and most important problem is the sticks of L3 and R3. First of all the sticks don't react like the original, you can press the stick lightly and nothing happens to them, but you will crawl and move very slowly on the original. You have to push it about 1/3 of the way until you feel movement on them. And then the reaction area is much smaller, so you push it 1/3 of the way and nothing then it crawls, but if you push it a little bit more or too hard you run instead of walk or the crosshair goes out slowly almost instantly too fast and you'll miss your target by a ton. Now the only problem is that you need super precision and control for games played on the most difficult settings. If you're playing other games that shouldn't be as sensitive, it's not a problem. It may take some time to get used to the difference. Second, the L3 and R3 buttons are only pressed and clicked when the sticks are almost straight up and down. If you push the joystick forward (or any other direction) and try to press the L3/R3 buttons they just don't press and don't click at all, you can press it with extreme force, I mean EXTREME force, but it is just not suitable for normal gameplay at all. If you have melee as L3/R3 and your run/walk and need to be fast in melee while pressing a stick, you just can't do it. These 2 things may not matter much to most, but they do to me who plays Elite. Difficulties and high accuracy is largely unsuitable. It works well for my 4-year-old son who plays Little Big Planet, although it's still irritable and more difficult to use than the original. Battery life is good. And I know I said it, but I really like the skins, they look amazing. Eliminate these two problems and these controllers will become the basis for replacing the original ones. But for now they are fine. Although customer service is excellent. Please fix these sticks.
