I'm a baker, he's a chef. I'm picky about my stuff and he's not, so I cringe when I see him use my baked goods for his culinary needs. That's why this brush set is perfect - I have a large and a small one for baking and it has the same one for cooking. No herbs, garlic etc. in my brushes! Different colors are also supposed to save him. Blue = baking or bad, in other words don't use blue. Green = go or good, green is yours and so on. hehe, dishwasher safe too! I haven't used them for really "high" temperatures, but I assume they're fine - at least for our purposes.
