**Updated** After having had several Sonicare irrigators that stopped working, we were glad to try this irrigator. Before use, we charged it overnight. So far it works very well. We thought it broke when it stopped in the middle of a cleaning session after our first few uses, but it has an auto shut-off feature. It finally turned back on after waiting around 10 minutes, but that means sharing between multiple people needs to be planned ahead of time. If it turns off, the light is on, the battery is fully charged, but when you press the power button, nothing happens. Pros: - powerful, efficient jet - adjustable pressure from light for beginners to high for experienced - large reservoir, good for a clean - easy to dry/clean with detachable reservoir - decent size for travel, could be more portable for low cost air travel - accessories in good quality included - pleasant ergonomics, easy to grip even when wet - absolutely waterproof - can be charged for a long time - very cool travel case with inner pockets and lockable case for handpieces Disadvantages: - annoying, too bright blue LED backlighting disturbs melatonin production at night - charger the device has a proprietary tip, it must be taken with the cable that comes with it, not a standard USB cable - the auto power off limits continuous use. Overall it cleans very well and is a good product for the price. It lies comfortably in the hand and is easy to use. It's very effective at cleaning teeth and gums and a lot more fun than flossing!
