Review on DEERC Drone Kids Toys Operated by Mick Ohlrogge

EDIT: I've been contacted by a company who will offer me a new drone or a refund if I delete this review. I think this is ethically questionable, which is why I am leaving this review. I bought it to see if my cats would play with it. The good news is yes they will, they hunt this thing with impunity. The bad news is that thing is junk. It's made out of terribly cheap and flimsy materials. It came with a charger but it didn't charge. We left it on for several hours and the base got very hot while charging (FIRE HAZARD) and yet it died after 3 minutes of flight. It is also very noisy during operation. He tries to avoid your hand, as shown in the video, but is fickle - he bumps into objects, loses his balance and very often falls to the ground. To be honest, we didn't expect much from this drone. Since it was so cheap we thought it might be rubbish. And since it's made in China, where safety regulations aren't very strict about the materials used, we suspect it can actually be dangerous to have - the color is really weird and flaky, and as I said, it got annoying. *Really* heats up when charging, although it doesn't hold a charge. All in all I regret the purchase. Spend another $10-$20 and get a decent drone. avoid it
