Good price for BBQ skewers

I was very satisfied and I like it much better than bamboo skewers. I always run into a thorn under my fingernail when using bamboo, but not this one. We use them for grilling over an open fire. We use long tongs to light them, then take them out and put them on a serving tray/plate. Once they've cooled for a minute or two, you can handle the rounded ends without fear. Food is easy to put on and take off without splashing or even oiling. If you're using soft vegetables (like mushrooms) or fruit (we always use pineapple), be sure to keep the pieces large so they don't break. I like longer skewers for convenience, but it's better to have a pair of shorter ones. Cleaning is also easy. They're fire colored, but that suits me. Food won't stick or come off when wiped with a soapy cloth in a camp sink. After drying, they can be easily stowed away in a storage bag. They even have little plastic tips so they don't hurt themselves when reaching for them at camp, but I found the tips too cumbersome. The storage bag works fine as the tips of the metal skewers aren't sharp enough to hurt me in my opinion. Sharp enough to easily load groceries.

Pros
  • BBQ skewers
Cons
  • Garden tools
