This is a Chemex coffee maker so it looks good even without the coffee. It comes with a coffee maker, a stainless steel filter and a lid. Slightly unexpected, but nice, is the addition of cup size markings on the glass itself, labeled in ounces (!). That's right - you don't even have to guess what they mean: 5 ounce mug, 5.5 ounce mug, 6 ounce mug - it's straight to the point without the guesswork. The filter works great! I've heard from others that metal filters leave a lot of sediment on the bottom, but I haven't seen this with the one they provided. And finally, the kit includes a flexible sealing cork. This at least keeps your coffee warm longer by preventing the heat from escaping as quickly, but it also makes it easier to pour the coffee. Everything looks high quality and durable. The packaging is nice, the instructions simple and easy; I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into the pourover game.
