These actually work I was surprised. But a warning to everyone, if you've tried cleaning the soot area with anything else, it won't work. We have soot on the ceiling from burning candles on the roof of our entertainment center and we tried so many ways to clean it but nothing worked. We then received it and I can tell you our blanket looks great now except for the soot stain which we tried to clean with other products. It's up to us, so I won't blame it. I just wish we had tried them first, now we have a super clean ceiling and a more pronounced soot stain lol.
