Review on Chicago Cutlery Walnut Tradition 10-Inch High-Carbon Serrated Bread Knife by Misty Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bread knife, worth the price many times over

This is one of the best kitchen utensils I have. From its balanced design, which includes a full metal shaft radiating from the end of the walnut handle, to three brass push rivets and a serrated carbon steel blade with teeth spaced just right for cutting. It will make the toughest crust without destroying the soft interior of your bread creation, you won't regret buying this knife. I think I should say at this point that I do not work for a company that sells or manufactures these fine knives and I do not receive any commission from sales resulting from this review. I'm just a satisfied customer and wanted to share my thoughts with those who might be considering purchasing this knife. PROS: Perfect weight and balance for its length, high carbon stainless steel blade, well designed handle. CONS: Too long for normal knife storage. Systems, walnut handle probably not dishwasher safe *** ADDED four weeks later: This knife is EXTREMELY SHARP, it will cut you even if your hand touches the blade while it's on the counter. It's a classic sharp knife that you don't feel until it's too late as you cut through the skin. Be very careful!***
