Suitable for beginners

Media could not be loaded. I am a homeowner and medium-sized handyman. I am not a professional floor installer. I purchased an EHF1838K floor stapler to install hardwood flooring (0.5 x 7.5 x 8 feet) in my home without the help of a professional installer. The stapler was recommended by the flooring manufacturer and the reviews were such that I was confident it would work for my application. I installed the original 600 square feet with the recommended bracket spacing. There were no misfires, sticking and/or loosening/shifting of the tongue engagement gauge throughout the project. The tongue hook adjusted quickly and helped align the strut with the deck groove. Each time he hit hard and straight. The magazine loaded easily. The stapler responded quickly and accurately to the initial pressure setting required for proper staple penetration. After laying the first few rows of flooring, my skill and confidence increased to the point where I was able to increase my sewing speed significantly without risk of making a mistake or nailing my big toe to the floor. Conclusion: It worked better than I expected as a beginner. The tool worked with me, not against me. I couldn't find any flaws in design or performance. I'm sure it will work with the rest of the house. Trite or not, this tool saved me a significant amount of capital as I was able to complete my home flooring project on my own the first time. Buy it.
