Review on Juki MO 114D Serger Overlock Machine by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great car. My 3rd overlocker

Great car. My 3rd Sgt. I've been waiting for an evaluation to spend some time with this machine. In short: it's great. I spoke to a knowledgeable Juki rep and he told me the motor was the same as one of their more expensive models. I recommend this MO-114D instead of MO-104D. The 114 is cheaper and comes with a top looper converter for various extra stitches that the 104D can't do. Also, the 114D has a differential feed dial on the outside of the machine so I can adjust it when it's cloudy. The 104D has the INSIDE dial, so you have to stop sewing, open the machine to set the differential feed, close it and start again. (Not sure why the 104D is $50 more for fewer features). Arrived on time and in excellent condition. The instructions are good, but it's missing some details that I found out through trial and error. The machine doesn't budge or rattle against my desk at high speed and is surprisingly reliable. No complaints. Easy to refuel
