Review on Optimized Funemployment Card Game by Tim Knoepfle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big hit at the party.

I honestly bought this because it really goes against what I think is a good game for my party. Honestly it should have given goosebumps but it was a huge hit at the party. A few days later they even asked for the name of the game. The reason I think this game works so well with any group is that unlike other games in this genre, you don't get stuck on the cards you're dealt. . Everyone can switch bad cards and develop topics for their interview. Even the rounds where players said they had bad hands still ended well. Almost every lap we laughed until we cried. It also has a nice balance of just enough inspiration built into the cards without too much creativity. You can give the same card to each player and it can be delivered differently each time. It also helps make every card usable in a turn, which means more options. This keeps the game fresh for longer. Overall, this is now my game in this genre. He really takes the best of the genre and brings them together. It also has a very accessible setting and can be adapted for younger audiences by removing some of the maps. I really don't think you can go wrong with this game. The last remark that my group understood at the end of the party. Referee questions are great for punishing players. We didn't put them to good use until the end, but if your friend doesn't speak well with an accent, grab a card with a Russian or French accent and let him demonstrate!
