I sent it back and received an Apple drive for my MacBook Pro. The outer packaging of this ultra-light portable drive was slightly wrinkled as if it hadn't been carefully handled at the factory. The DVD drive itself felt fragile and ultra-light, reminding me of a plastic toy. The MacBook adapter was packaged as if dropped at the last moment. I gave it a chance and put the DVD in. At first I was satisfied despite the lack of quality, but I quickly realized that if I pause the DVD player and come back later to press the play button, the DVD starts over. The fast forward wasn't that great. Sometimes the DVD stopped and restarted. I tried for a week but decided to send it back. I have an Apple drive for my MacBook and have had no problems. It's one of those "I got what I paid for" moments
