Good value for money compared to other brands of work shoes. True to size, enough room for very thick socks. Composite insole does not cut in and does not affect wearing comfort. there is no reliable arch support. The insole is glued in, making it difficult to swap out when the original wears out or when you just need extra arch support. There is very little natural leather in the upper - the shoes scratch easily and look torn after 6 months. Indoor use. Despite durability issues, the Grinnel is the most comfortable work shoe I've ever worn. The outsole is non-slip on smooth surfaces, so it is best used indoors or on sidewalks.
