Review on ๐Ÿ“ฆ Maximize Space with the Store Fixtures Mini Corner Shelf: A Practical Solution for Efficient Storage by Vincent Blitz

Worthy for what it is - I personally like some aspects; Some other aspects I don't like

- This is my first experience with this type of product. In the past I've had a shelf for a different item, but it was a vinyl coated grate. It looks like these bars are painted. Not sure if it's even device paint - it seems to scratch too easily ((or my nails are tougher than I think))). On the other hand, if, like me, you keep things for a long time, especially if they are still useful!, they can easily be touched up or even completely repainted with paint intended for use on metal. At the same time, they are labeled "store fixtures" so I think they will probably stand up to normal office, home, and dorm use. I think they probably won't stand up well when used to hold heavy, abrasive or sharp objects like small motors, wrenches, saws, car alternators, car batteries, random orbit sanders and the like. The grilles *are* a good gauge/thickness and appear to be able to support a decent weight for their size. They're also magnetic, so they appear to be steel too. I had no experience with the type of connection that came with it ((and seems to be common with lattice shelving like this)). In terms of quality, they seem very strong and durable, even more than I expected. But they're also difficult to put on - I had to use something to "hammer" them. Your best bet would probably be a rubber mallet, but if you must use a metal mallet or some other hard flat object =;-), place something on top of the connector to keep the edge from being creased or damaged in case you ever want to disassemble the device the plugs the paint, especially if they are torn off. Being "universal" and having the same shape for *all* assemblies also means that the unoccupied part of the connectors sticks out. This way you don't have to place the shelves against a wall or in a corner as the connectors protrude just over an inch. But since they're also completely smooth, at least the connectors won't scratch the walls or you if you bump into them! =;-)- Last but not least, as others have pointed out, there are no building instructions, but if you use the zoom tool on the Revain product photo you can see how it all fits together.

Pros
  • Shelf and Wall Display
Cons
  • Big and bulky
