I really love these Tiger Eye gels! First of all, they are VERY thick, but that's actually a good thing, because you only need one coat of the actual color, and it takes a lot to chip the nails, even compared to other gels. The black under color is also very thick. You don't necessarily have to use the black under color, but darker under colors work better. In the attached photo, I used a dark "wine bottle green" under the green tiger eye color, and then use the included round magnet to "push" the color up to the top of the nail for a fun take on the French nail. I've tried using light colors under the tiger eye colors and it ends up looking cloudy, or dirty, and just not as dynamic.Of course, you still need to use a clear base coat and a top coat, which are not included in this pack, but you can use any base and top brand you like. I happen to use Gelish, which has always been my go-to.Over all, I love these colors, they're just lots of fun to play with! I've even tried two different tiger eye colors, pushing one to one side of the nail, curing, and then applying the other color and pushing it to the other side of the nail and curing. Comes out pretty cool looking!
