I was expecting a pulley that would allow me pull a hanging pot down from above, so I could water it more easily as well as easily reach the strawberries growing inside. However, this pulley can only extend the wire if you are holding down a switch on the side. So, essentially, in order to water/pick my strawberries I have to be able to reach up HIGHER than my plant to the pulley holding it up just to depress a switch to lower it. Basically, if I want to keep my berries in their current location then I STILL need to keep a step ladder close by. 🤦‍♀️
