This aquarium is exactly the same as the one I bought over 15 years ago maybe even 20. I put them side by side and see no difference. Finally a good product that hasn't been discontinued or made cheaper! Two thumbs up for Anchor Hocking! It is durable and heavy and over 15 years old looks like new. It hasn't aged a bit and I clean it almost once a week. My daughter won a genetically superior goldfish in a fair game of table tennis 13 years ago at 3 years old and that fish is still with us now at 16 years old. I don't know how old I had my first bowl. before "Bobetta" joined the family. It took me 13 years to contemplate buying a second bowl just to carry the bobette while I cleaned the other bowl instead of putting the fish in the bucket every time.
