I was pleasantly surprised when I received these pillow cases as they were/are everything they should be! They are very, very soft and silky. They have no stains, nicks, tears or the dreaded "permanent stains" that appear so easily and seem to happen so easily and quickly with this type of fabric. Seams are straight, strong/tight/reliable. The pillowcases don't wrinkle either, to be honest they don't wrinkle at all, as do silk fabrics (I know some of the other reviewers have said they had wrinkle issues, that definitely hasn't happened to me.) and that concerns me without particular Precautions or actions I took to avoid wrinkling: just a regular wash with detergent and fabric softener, then toss in the dryer in bedding mode (with the rest). my dark bedding), so dry at high temperature. The color (navy blue) of the pillowcases is as expected: deep, rich and even throughout. And there are no pillowcase-colored stains on my sheets or pajamas, even when I've had the occasional hot night with little night sweats. Although silk fabrics are not at all cooling, they are not as hot as some silk fabrics and silk bed linen. The overall size of the pillowcases compared to standard or regular pillow sizes (standard/queen size or king size) is such that they are slightly larger than they should be (this is the only small flaw I can find with this product), but at least there won't be a problem with my pillows hanging out of their pillowcases, my pillows constantly sticking out of their pillowcases, or having to tuck a pillow into my pillowcase every time I change my sheets. or make my bed because they barely fit in a pillowcase. Definitely worth your money! Amazing press price and just a great buy! I'll probably buy another set for my bed just to wash the sheets so I can use another set while I change them.
