loved the level of durability and comfort for a 16 lb cat. Did a test walk with the cat inside the house. The cat is unhappy (as most cats don't like enclosed spaces). He pushed the zipper and voila, the zipper opened by itself and the cat escaped. Then I noticed that the zipper heads have a zipper where they connect to prevent what happened. But I can't allow that - I need crates for hurricane evacuation, and when I'm out a nanny or someone else can look after the cats - what if they forget to zip up. The fear is too great. The case really isn't bad for the price but I would only recommend it if you are really busy and only use it for transporting to and from the vet. I'll come back and keep looking. By the way, none of this matters for a dog.
