It's so easy to clean

What I really like about the Timemore French Press is the plastic sleeve that covers the glass carafe. I've had many presses in the past and they've all failed because they accidentally hit the edge of the kitchen sink. On my first inspection of the press upon opening, I was surprised and a little concerned that the seal around the filter wasn't a snug fit to the inside of the jar (there was a feeling there might be a small gap between the filters). seal and the walls of the glass carafe). When I was looking through the instructions and stumbled across a statement stating that by design, ground coffee doesn't naturally end up in the filter, I was a little confused. The next morning I set out to make my first drink with a press, expecting the worst. Since the filter does not fit perfectly, it fell into the carafe under its own weight. Surprisingly, he stopped right at the water level, since the buoyancy and the mass of sand did not allow the filter to fall to the bottom. I set a timer for 4 minutes and let the coffee sink in. As the timer ticked off, I slowly lowered the filter to the floor and poured in coffee. To my surprise, as you can see in the picture, there was no ground grain in the coffee! I am very happy with the Timemore French Press. Very well made and the quality of the materials is excellent. The plastic and glass carafe is thick and the filter easily unscrews for cleaning if needed. It is screwed onto a steel rod through a brass fitting, which is another small detail that indicates the quality of the press. poured into the press. I make coffee by the cup and this feature is very convenient for me as I only have to fill it about an inch below the first mark. I think it's great abs that I look forward to every day. I used store bought ground coffee to keep the grind size consistent. If you grind beans yourself, you may find that finer grounds can get into your coffee around the pod. In general, this is a very good press made of quality materials. Just be patient and keep a steady hand as you push the filter into the bottom of the press.

Pros
  • Stainless Steel Filter Systems - Poorly made filters often break, causing your cup to fill with coffee grounds. That is why we have developed a high-density (0.35 mm) stainless steel filter that ensures that no more coffee grounds get into your coffee. Enjoy an incomparably delicious, smooth and full-bodied coffee. The mesh filter is easy to disassemble and wash.
