I bought a longer whistle because I thought my wife could help so she doesn't have to put her hands in the tank, or I could do it myself. When filling/emptying the sink, not enough water flows to create a sufficient vacuum and the soft hose will collapse on its own as it is now higher on the tank, creating a tighter bend radius by kinking the hose. (Python, you can add another accessory to your listing in the form of spiral hose, for example, industrial sinks need to be attached to the end of the hose.) I've tried just using this longer 24" pipe and hose to look for to get outside. The problem is the longer tube. You can't just fill the tube with water and part of the hose inside the tank to create a siphon on a 55 gallon tank because of the cross brace. I ended up going back to the shorter tube that came with it as it was easier to use use was.
