I recently rescued a 6 week old kitten and wanted to teach him the harness and leash as early as possible. I chose these based on the price and the velcro closure so there was flexibility in sizing as it is so small. It seems very comfortable on it. He is now 10 weeks old and has doubled in size and it still suits him and should be for a while! To teach him to walk, I changed the leash to a retractable leash, tied the leash from this harness to the loop on my jeans, and he wants to "chase" the leash on my pants, so he's moving pretty fast. Our dog! The retractable leash gives him the opportunity to explore something better than with a static leash. The video is of our very first attempt at walking when he was 6 weeks old.
