It's November, so it's not "end of winter". For now the heating is working as advertised and I will update this review if colder weather puts it at a disadvantage. However, I will echo what a previous reviewer said and it would be better if the information (at least the thermostat temperature setting) was displayed on the front rather than just at the top. However, it's easier to see when you're standing over him, but if he's in your bedroom in the middle of the night, you'll need to be standing next to him to see temperature or fan settings and the like. prohibits using the remote control for anything other than on/off. I plan to use it in the living room so it won't be a big problem. I love that it's taller (by a few inches) than many of the other heaters I've also reviewed from the seller. I had a shipping issue which was resolved by the seller's support team. FAST and COMPLETE. Excellent work!
