What a great kite. This thing took off easily, flew all day and looked great. I read some reviews about tails blowing in the wind so I took a proactive approach. As soon as I received it, I opened it and checked it. everything looked fine. Other reviewers have suggested putting duct tape on the ends of the tails. I took a bottle of good old Elmers glue and rubbed it up about 2 or 3 inches on either side of the ends of the tails and let it dry. Well, went to the beach and let her go. After a full day of sun and fun I wound it up and didn't tear the ends, but the rest of the tails had some tangling in a random spot. Maybe I'll put glue on each side next time. I'd add that regarding ropes, I went to the local store and found about 300 feet of bright yellow nylon line (used to catch catfish) in the fishing department for about $2 and a spool right next to it. For about $2, it's a lot easier to wind up than the included gear. Buy it. You're gonna have a good time.
