Review on PRObebi Mesh Retractable Gates: The Ultimate Safety Baby Gate for Indoor/Outdoor Use, Stairs, Doorways, Decks & Banisters (180cm/72 inch) by Karen Peterson

When we first bought a baby gate we bought a retractable gate from another brand that we know and it was great but they are only getting up to sold 55 inches wide. We needed a longer one to cordon off the kitchen as well as the hallway to the laundry room. We saw it during Black Friday and took a chance. It expands to 71 inches (see picture of gate versus door in background) which is what we need. It's actually almost the same as the Momcozy we bought, but it's cheaper. It doesn't retract as smoothly, but I suspect it's due to the longer length. It also comes with two mounts so you can move it to a second location if needed. I'm saying you have to make sure it's screwed well into the wall because it's heavier and if you don't screw it in tight it can come loose if you pull and then it becomes a safety issue. I noticed one of ours was loosening at the bottom, so we tightened it up and carefully checked it from time to time. One of the two gates we bought also had a lock that kept hanging but I assume it's just a factory fault as the others were fine and Revane replaced them. It has its drawbacks, but it's an affordable option for very wide children's gates.
