True they are small but bright enough and safe enough/waterproof enough to get past Ragnar Chicago (12 man 200 mile relay from Madison Wisconsin to Chicago where each person walks on three or three more legs, at least one of them at night). Unlike some other lights I saw there (mandatory for night runners), this one was bright enough, visible enough, not too big, expensive or heavy, and stayed safe throughout the race. Having two packs was great because I ended up having to borrow one. Velcro straps are good quality, but don't expect to use them as a wrist or bracelet (even if you clip them together). They're probably best for bike handlebars and the like. I was not paid for this review, nor did I receive any product for free.
