Blue light is best for long life bulbs
I added these two to the two already in the floor lamp. I usually turn them on when I'm watching TV in the living room. Much softer and more soothing than traditional lighting. I can't confirm their durability or energy efficiency but they provided the light I was looking for. The blue light also works well as a night light when you get up at night as it is not harsh or arousing yet provides enough light to get to the bathroom or maybe the fridge depending on your night time needs.
