We have had serious problems with large mosquito-like bugs and common moths and bugs that are attracted to lights at night. An active dog that is walked several times a night will inevitably bring some bugs into the house. Immediately after replacing the regular light bulb with a yellow LED insect repellent bulb, we noticed a decrease in the number of insects and I haven't seen any insects near our door since installing the lamp. We also like that it's round like a regular lightbulb and blends seamlessly with lighting fixtures. I'll be adding a lightbulb to our porch soon.
