I've never used a glass file until now and the difference between this and my metal file and emery boards is worlds apart. I don't think I'll ever use anything but a glass file again.My nails are smooth and relatively snag free after filing now. I have thin, wide fingernails so getting a perfectly clean filling is almost impossible, but the glass file got me as close to it as I ever have. It's just as easy to use and any other file, it comes on a sleek plastic case and includes a cloth to wipe the dust off. If it gets too dusty, just run the file under warm water and it's good as new.
