This backpack is the PERFECT size for every day. It's not so big that it's heavy when fully loaded, but not so small that you can't fit everything you need for everyday use either. It's enough for my Kindle or my small iPad. I can wear my reading glasses in it, a water bottle in it and it comes with an RFID protected canvas wristband for your credit cards and ID. It has a main compartment with another one with RFID security, a large zip compartment inside and more pockets. There is a small zipped compartment on the front where I put my reading glasses and sunglass case. I had everything I needed for my daily errands and it was still half empty. If the weather was cold, there is room for a jacket or sweater. Comfortable shoulder straps and all zippers are easy to use. I love it and will now get one in a different color.
