Wanted a backpack but everything was too big for my 5ft 3in height. It's perfect. , my Kindle and still have room. There is a large zipped front pocket - it fits a Kindle and is very handy for a phone. No big bulky side water pockets but could probably fit a smaller water bottle. It comes with a cute little strap that can be detached from the inside. The outer material is a durable nylon that should hold up well. The price is right too.

The bag is about the size I wanted although a little heavier than I wanted. I found two noticeable creases on the front pocket, the one indicated by the green arrow is larger than the one indicated by the blue arrow. They cannot be smoothed by hand.
