We bought this bed for our 2 year old daughter and it suits her perfectly. We were nervous about putting her in a large women's bed, but she loves it, and even when she wakes up in the night, she insists on going back into her bed. It's also strong enough for my husband and I to both lie in it with her. I am 7 months pregnant, weigh 210lbs 5ft 1in and rest comfortably in it when she is by my side. The only thing I don't like is that the side panels and footrest are very thin and positioned so high that when standing up, she could hit her forehead or head on the edge of the walls. and much down; She sleeps in a very dark room and sometimes cannot see the panels. We are working on that with more pillows and stuffed animals in the area.
