Great electric trimmer. But durability/design is questionable

Good: Great trimmer. Works very well. Lots of bait. Fast charging and stable battery life. Cons: Some attachments are made of cheap plastic and have a questionable design. You can easily see the pieces break off with regular use by accidentally pushing them even slightly the wrong way. Difficult to clean. Overall: a decent electric trimmer. Cuts beard hairs nicely and thoroughly without having to touch a spot again. The blade is still sharp. The battery lasts for several days of non-use. Ultimately it does the job for my needs but I only use it 1-2 times a week. One can easily see the more frustrating aspects of everyday or very regular use, particularly in the way the headers snap into place with tiny (and IMO cheap looking and sounding) plastic pins. Cleaning is also a challenge as there are 3 different elements to remove and the hairs are difficult to remove (if you can even get at them) from the many tiny crevices. Too bad they still made the QT4070/41 7300 beard trimmer. This model was a beast and lasted 6 years. Much better design and display (full screen LCD!) and much easier to clean. The BT7225/49 Series 7200 pales in comparison.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Sad hardware
