Review on πŸŽ’ Olive Drab Condor Venture Pack by Samuel Reppa

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It is comfortable and the waist belt relieves pressure.

I bought this backpack for a ruck competition. So far he has completed two 6-hour events and several training runs and holds the weight up to 30 pounds very well. It's comfortable and the waist belt takes the strain off your shoulders. I originally had the 5.11 24hr Rush bag which is one of the best bags in this category. I liked the overall design and quality of the 5.11 bag, but it doesn't have a waist belt. It puts all the weight right on my shoulders and doesn't work for me over 15 pounds. The Condor Venture package is broadly similar in size and design. I'll do the rest of my review by comparing this to the 5.11 bag: Pros: Waist strap: This was a deal breaker for me. It takes the weight off my shoulders and I can carry a lot more weight. Shoulder Straps: The straps are not as soft as the 5.11 bag, but the shoulder strap position is wider and fits me better. The 5.11 bag's yoke design keeps the straps closer to my neck, which keeps the weight on my traps. Compression Straps: The Condor bag has compression straps at the top and bottom. Capacity compared to bag 5.11. I personally don't like the outer zone of the quick hideout. Due to this function, the bag loses a lot of internal storage space. I would prefer internal storage. This bag also has an inner laptop pocket which also takes up some interior space. This bag is suitable for a 6-12 hour rowing or day hike. 5.11 has enough space for a 1-3 day trip if you are not into transportation. Build quality and materials in general seem good but fall short of the 5.11. 5.11 just seems stronger. But for the price, the Condor bag was worth trying. So far the Condor bag is holding up well and generally meets my needs.
