Review on Nilight 18001F B 10800Lumens Driving Warranty by Steve Lawrence

Revainrating 5 out of 5

not even close to 75w

I bought these thinking they would draw 72w x 2 = 144w. I even rated my electrical system at just over 144 watts to give me some headroom. I then measured the current at 12V and 30V. I used MeanWell HLG-240H-30A (30V) and HLG-240H-12A (12V) power supplies. At 12V I measured 1.8A per light strip, at 30V I measured 0.7A per strip. As a result, the power consumption hardly exceeds 20 W per bus (or 40 W with 2 lanes instead of 144 W). This is more than 3 times lower than advertised! The support rep told me that "the original power of the chips is 3W". 3W x 24 LEDs = 72W. But to increase the lifespan of the lightbar, we have reduced the wattage of the lightbar. This article should be noted in the description!
